Brittany Lombardo, M.S. L.Ac
My interest in holistic medicine started when I was an undergraduate at Ramapo College of New Jersey. I studied abroad in India and became fascinated with their holistic approach to healing. My curiosity peaked when I discovered acupuncture. I was immediately intrigued by this ancient medicine and its method of evaluation of wellness. Unlike Western medicine that often treats the symptom and not cause, acupuncture and Chinese medicine uses a two-pronged approach, treating both the symptom and the cause.
I Earned my Master’s of Science degree at Tri-State College of Acupuncture (3 year program) in New York City and graduated with honors in 2011. At Tri-State, we are urged to develop our own style by incorporating the many styles we were exposed to. I gravitated towards the more 'biomedical' style called Trigger Point Dry Needling Acupuncture. I often combine this style with Master Tung/Dr. Tan Acupuncture. The goal of my practice is to incorporate cutting edge research and biomedical ideas with the 3000 year old practice of acupuncture. I hope to demystify acupuncture by using conventional terminology and explanations to help my patients understand why acupuncture works. I am licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and certified in CPR and Clean Needle Technique.
Not all Acupuncturists are created equal. I am committed to learning the latest techniques + styles to help you reach your wellness goals quickly and efficiently.
